Many materials

Wood, white marble, colourful marble, canvas and gold are some of the materials used to compose the church’s works, each with different characteristics.
The smooth marble of the main altar contrasts with the irregular surface of the Solomonic columns of the rough and porous façade.
The hardness of the panel is completely different to the softness of the Tanasi’s Annunciation painting-artists must always take into account the type of material they are going to paint on or sculpt.

The white stone of the façade shines as soon as a ray of sunshine hits it.
Inside, the floor has a hypnotic effect thanks to its decoration based on the contrast between the white and dark grey stone slabs.
The main altar, where the artist created a valuable piece of work, is a genuine triumph of colour thanks to the skilful combination of blue, red, yellow and white.
