The beach of Aci Trezza is certainly not one of the most comfortable. Though these volcanic products are at least 500,000 years old, the sea has not yet had time to form a real sandy beach. If you lie down on the pebbles of the Aci Trezza beach, you will not be comfortable, but you will benefit from their healing effect.

The fish market is where fishermen sell their catch to local fishmongers in the early hours of each day. In Aci Trezza, it is located just north of the small harbour. It is worthwhile to go and hear the shouting by all the fisherman to sell as much fish as possible.
