Among the five paintings on the façade of the cathedral, also mentioned in the Rollus Rubeus, the fourth depicts Queen Constance, daughter of Roger II and Beatrice of Rethel, wife of the Holy Roman Emperor Henry IV and mother of Frederick II. In the painting, she is seen in royal robes, holding the sceptre in her right hand and a scroll, referring to the donation of the Casale of Odosuer, in her left. The farmhouse, located near modern-day Buonfornello, was one of the properties that the queen had donated to the diocese of Cefalù in 1198.
