The villa’s sector, located near the main residence, at the service of this and the territory is formed of areas for agricultural production, accommodation for the farmer, the vilicus, servants and other workers of the fundus, but also buildings for processing and storing products (mills, wine cellars, granaries, storage warehouses), more precisely named in some sources as the pars fructuaria.
The pars fructuaria is different to the pars urbana, which around the 3rd century AD occupied larger spaces for the activities and residence of the Dominus.
At the Villa del Casale, the pars fructuaria, as yet is limited to two large rooms to the south-west of the building, identifiable as warehouses.
