The pool located in the centre of the peristyle, along the longitudinal axis of the courtyard, consists of three parts. The central part, rectangular in shape, is the largest with curved edges. The other two parts are made up of small symmetrical pools placed on the short sides of the main pool and form two semicircular-shaped basins.
At the central point of the largest pool, there is an octagonal brick pillar which was used to stabilise the water pressure.
Some fistule aquariae (lead pipes) that fed water into the pools were found, some of them positioned along the edges to create water effects.
The large pool was used as a fountain, but the two small basins placed at the ends seem to be service pools for use as a natatio (swimming pool).
